The property itself is beautiful. Those big trees, the setting, the whole forested feel - that part lives up to the pictures. Cedars restaurant was also a bright spot. Maggie and Zoe were excellent. I really don't understand how this is classified as a 4-star hotel. Thank god this hotel was only a one night stop for us. We booked a room with fireplace, and the room was barely adequate to say the least. Very old, with dirty sofa, dirty carpet, a bathroom that I didn't even want to shower in, uncomfortable bed and a unusable kitchen.
