Tifft Nature Preserve is a peaceful escape right in the heart of Buffalo, even on a rainy day. The light drizzle actually made the experience feel more calm and refreshing — the scent of wet earth, the sound of rain tapping on the leaves, and fewer people on the trails made it feel like we had the place to ourselves. It’s Free….New trails are being added for wheelchairs and strollers. Beautiful scenery and benches throughout to sit and rest. There is also places for bird watching…really cool place, that will leave you in awe of creation.
Beautiful place with nice nature. It’s a bit too near the city to really have to wilderness feeling, but a nature preserve worth visiting. There are lots of trails to choose from which I liked, which offer different type of bioms, with woodland and wetlands.
