Came in this evening to pick up a free half dozen and we asked the lady at the front counter if we could place the order and pick from the case instead of making them fresh and waiting for the cookies to bake, her reponse was ( YES ) of course. We then had a little trouble completing the order online, we approached the counter for assistance and she said she had no clue on how it worked for the free half dozen then kept insisting we were doing it wrong. Cookies are always fresh baked and warm.
The cookies taste fine most of the time and are reasonably priced compared to direct competitors (mainly Insomnia and maybe Crumbl). However, certain cookies are extremely underbaked, soft, and difficult to eat as a result of this. I don’t understand how this happens regularly and I don’t know if it’s a recipe issue or an employee issue. I often have to take them home and continue baking for a more firm consistency. Otherwise, I’m left with soggy cookies that fall apart when you pick them up.
