I am a woman who has experienced serious hair loss requiring me to wear a wig. I wentto Tiffany to buy my first wig and was thrilled with the selection ......the only thing is after time and becoming a much more saavy wig buyer I found the exact wig they sold me for 1/8 of what they charged me. I bought what I have since found out is the Kelly wig by amore for over 800.00 at this shop and found the exact wig for 138.00 online. I was looking for a wig to wear at a performance of Elvis. I didn't mind paying but 100.00 was a bit much. I wanted a good washable quality so they sent me down the street to Bruna Costumes on Pocasset Ave. I found the one I wanted for 25.00 and it was a super wig
I took my mother (who is undergoing chemotherapy) to Tiffany's on Friday of last week. We were not looking at all forward to the whole experience of picking out a wig. That min frame changed as soon as we stepped through the door at Tiffany Wigs. I just want to let everyone out there that needs a wig what a wonderful experience it can actually be. I am currently going through chemotherapy, my doctor advised me that Tiffany's was the ONLY place to go. I also had to drive over an hour to get there, but it was the most pleasant, uplifting experience I've had in a long time. Thorough, knowledgable, friendly and caring, with the absolute most gorgeous wigs and hairpieces I've ever seen! I couldn't believe how far they've come with wigs! I would have liked to know in advance of driving 1 hour that their was a $15- charge for a 20 minutes wig discussion. I was polite and payed it but I didn't order a $1500-$1800 4 inch hair piece that they tried on me. I thought that was outrageous and it wasn't even real hair or the size or color.
