I went here at 12 years old with my mom and my sister and honestly we were going through a lot at the time. We had recently experienced a family crisis and we were seeking help with our broken dynamic. I remember feeling unheard and uncared for, the therapist we had made me feel like I was the big problem and I felt like I was given no real help or advice or anything at all. There were times were I'd step outside while they talked and I was alone in the parking lot for half an hour. Terrible place.
I had a very bad experience here 4 years ago and had already left a bad review back then, but I thought I would give this practice the benefit of the doubt and try again. I had been going through alot in my life all at once with health issues and other traumas and they had openings and the availability that I was looking for, so I tried the Dunmore practice again. Since January, my adhd child had her first therapist move to another company and the 2nd Janet just chatted with her while my child took over the conversation. The topper was when she told me that I shame my child for having adhd and when I asked for an example she hung up, 15 minutes into our conversation. Spoke with the director, that was no help. He gave me ONE phone number to schedule with that provider. With private insurance, blue cross, it will take months.

First, my experience in over a year of talk therapy with this agency was fantastic. I had a wonderful experience, that led not only to a resolution of my symptoms, but left me with warm feelings for the agency as a whole. Unfortunately, my experience with the agency did not end with therapy. At some point I decided to try medication. They have enshrined a late policy that exemplifies their disrespect and downright contempt for their patients.
