I recently had a custom canvas top made by TidyBoat, and after this experience I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Last year I had another shop repair a canvas top on a different boat because the price was attractive. Unfortunately, about a year later both zipper stitch lines failed and I'm now paying to have it redone. Our local animal rescue, Action for Animals, had received a portable canvas dog crate as a donation, but unfortunately, the zipper closure had been severely damaged. I contacted Dan at TidyBoat at 5 Senator Road, Unit 6 on the North Vancouver waterfront hoping that they could replace the damaged zipper.
