The entire practice regardless of location is absolutely AWFUL. If it wasn’t for Meeka I would have left and found a new neurologist. The care isnt exceptional as Bolen doesn’t listen to his patients. He over talks or tries to predict what you’re about to say. Talks too fast and tries to speed through the appointment. If I’m paying out of pocket I want a provider who listens and takes there time with me and at least acts like they care. Thank God for Meeka, give her a raise!!!
The people that work there in the office part never never never never answer the phone or return calls i’ve tried to get my prescription filled for two weeks now this is February 17th they don’t explain anything to you take your money and they’re happy if you don’t pay then you’ll hear something from them then is it that how it works? The hypocrisy of this facility is bewildering. They charge a no-show fee of $50. Which, I personally understand. However, you yourself will get no-showed on. I have been told within 30 minutes of my appointment that the doctor will not be in that day and have seen many others show up to their appointment just to be told that their doctor is also not in. All I heard was, "it's going to take you months to see a neurologist." I was having daily migraines and unable to function. Was referred to one place that took weeks to call me back. I found Tidewater and had an appointment in 2 weeks time. Dr. Bolen and Kate (his PA) were helpful, knowledgable and allowed me to ask all of my many questions. I have since moved to another state and Kate did a check in with me and is making sure I have enough meds until I can see a new neurologist, exceptional care.
