The hypocrisy of this facility is bewildering. They charge a no-show fee of $50. Which, I personally understand. However, you yourself will get no-showed on. I have been told within 30 minutes of my appointment that the doctor will not be in that day and have seen many others show up to their appointment just to be told that their doctor is also not in. All I heard was, "it's going to take you months to see a neurologist." I was having daily migraines and unable to function. Was referred to one place that took weeks to call me back. I found Tidewater and had an appointment in 2 weeks time. Dr. Bolen and Kate (his PA) were helpful, knowledgable and allowed me to ask all of my many questions. I have since moved to another state and Kate did a check in with me and is making sure I have enough meds until I can see a new neurologist, exceptional care.
Dr Bowman was pretty thorough and for a Neurologist has a pretty decent bedside manner but the front office needs a lot of work in customer service. Getting someone to call you back from their automated phone system is like pulling teeth. I tried calling the direct extension for the manager after she provided it during a visit and even after leaving multiple messages over the course of two weeks I never received a call back.
