I had a very uncomfortable experience with this PCP. He labeled me “obese” based solely on BMI without asking about my activity level or lifestyle. As someone who does hybrid training regularly , tracks macros, has an athletic build, and stays very in tune with my body (including InBody scans), this felt dismissive and uninformed. ⸻ I’ve been a patient of Dr. Ryan Light for almost two years, and I truly think he is a great doctor—knowledgeable, attentive, and someone I trust with my care. Karissa and the staff were amazing. She was very helpful and resourceful with my child’s appointment.
Staff and nursing were very knowledgeable and available. My experience, however, with the doctor, Ryan Light, was very bizarre. I'm not overly pretentious. I consider myself to be very laid back, as was he during the visit. He seemed to have established a good rapport with me, not only through his actions and speech, but also through his knowledge of his craft. He also appeared to be a great active listener, which was terrific. The visit, however, took a turn when he brought up his unpromoted take about slavery to an African... read more
