We called Tidewater to get a quote on a new HVAC unit because our air handler was old and had mold growing in it. Talked to a gentleman on the phone and it was pleasant enough; told me the same thing the other companies told me. The issues come with the professionalism, or lack there of. AC WENT OUT CALLED TIDEWATER HEATING AND AIR FIRST TECK CAME OUT TOLD WHAT WAS WRONG NEED NEW VALVE LINE WAS LEAKING COST $800 TO FIX PROBLEM 1 MONTH GOES BY AC FROZE UP CALLED SECOUND TECK COMES OUT CHECKED FREON LOW CHARGED SYSTEM WORKED GREAT FOR 2 DAYS SYSTEM FROZE UP AGAIN 3RD TECH CAME OUT SAID THERE WAS A LEAK $600 DOLLARS TO FIX AND CHARGE SYSTEM I FEEL THE PROBLEM SHOULD HAVE BEEN FIXED THE FIRST TIME NOT PLEASED WITH THE COMPANY
