I called to speak to the office manager at the Portsmouth location a few weeks ago who was not interested in hearing what I had to say. I spoke with someone via Facebook messenger named Dana who had the same sentiments. She never had anyone to call me regarding my overall experience & most importantly with the office manager who lacks phone etiquette & empathy.

Made an appointment due to loss of peripheral vision in my left eye. I was not scheduled with an actual opthamolgist. The optometrist did dilate and take pictures of my eye. However, she told me that my eyes were just dry and my retina wasn't detached. It's possible she just isn't qualified to see it- and this is simply a scheduling problem. I went another week thinking it was dry eye to only get a second opinion. My retina was detached and I had emergency surgery the same day. I have already left a review about the outstanding experience I had here with Dr. Newsom for two cataract surgeries. I also would like to give five stars to the optical store for eyeglasses on the ground floor. I met with Deborah and wanted to use my original glasses and just get new lenses. I don't actually need regular glasses to see as my vision now is very good for distance, but I do a lot of reading and computer work on my laptop and just found it annoying to be always trying to hunt down my "readers" and wanted clear l... read more

Went there for my eye appointment on August 11,2023. I was taken in before my scheduled appointment and the technician Miss V checked my eye pressure. She is wonderful and caring person. She did her job very professionally and efficiently.
