I am writing to formally raise concerns regarding repeated issues we have experienced at Tidewater Animal Clinic. This is now the third visit where we have waited 45 minutes or more past our scheduled appointment time. Most recently, we had a 4:30 PM appointment and were there at 4:12PM & not seen for nearly two hours after being placed in a room. Well I remember when it was Harbour vet clinic when Dr Harbour owned the business then sold it to the Henderson’s and was good for a while. Recently within the past year we’ve experienced on one time where she had an appointment for around 5pm and arrived 20 minutes early, we were seen around 45 minutes after the original appointment time the staff at the time were kind then and apologetic and explained about the emergencies that were happening and only one vet was there that day ok no problem got it emergencies happen they ... read more

As a new client, I can’t say enough positive things about the clinic. In November 2025 I took my deaf American Bulldog to the clinic for a new patient appointment. My dog was showing signs of stress so I asked for a muzzle for everyone’s safety. She was not acting normal and overly stressed in the new environment. The staff completely understood and focused on her exam. Today, I took my elderly cat in knowing that mostly the medical recommendation would be to put her to sleep.
