Beware - Tidal Wave Car Wash Promotion Scam. In June of 2025 my employee took our company vehicle to the Tidal Wave Car Wash in Camden SC for one wash. Anyone that has been through there knows that every time you go they try to up sale you to some monthly wash payment plan. We did not ask for this, and was signed up without our knowledge by the Tidal Wave employee. Since they opened I have been washing all of my cars there. I even joined their clean club for a while one summer. Sometimes I do go just to vacuum because the vacuums are free like the signs say. Only this morning I drove in there to vacuum my car and I was approached by the guy working there and he says the vacuums are not free. I have to give him $5 now OR pay for a car wash to use the vacuums. He says that as I am looking at all of the signs saying free vacuum. The guys scrubbing down the vehicles before you take your car through the wash went over and above to get all the bugs and spots off . Impressive . Lots of cleaning rags at the end and clean slots when you are vacuuming!:)
