I made my first online coral purchase through these guys, and I am IMPRESSED to say the least. I was weary about ordering online after seeing many companies sending twigs and half dead corals. This was the exact opposite. My pulsing xenia frag is HUGE. Biggest frag that I've bought. Price was very fair and the coral itself looks really healthy. I'm still floating the bag, but I can already see movement in the polyps! I'm so excited to place it.
I've placed 2 orders with Tidal Gardens. Both times I have been so impressed with their selection of coral, professionalism, and promptness with communication. I live about 45 minutes away, but have no issues driving there to pick up my new coral. It might sound cheesy, but I love when one of the guys loads you car and finishes by saying, "see you next time!". If you're in the saltwater and reefing hobby you HAVE to check out Tidal Gardens! These guys know what they're doing, and I promise you won't be disappointed.
I've been a reef hobbyist since 2004 and in all that time I have never been fully comfortable with coral-by-mail because of the unknowns-- shipping, health, contaminants. Tidal Gardens fixes all that! Accurate photos in multiple Kelvin, incredibly careful packaging and shipping, and gorgeous clean frags. Mine are just done acclimating and I have never seen frags look so good out of the box. Thanks, Tidal Gardens!
