Ticor failed to record to the county on the day of closing. So buyer (me) and seller had to extend closing by a day to avoid defaulting on the agreement. This all took place around 4pm the day of closing. All without an email, phone call, explanation, or apology from Ticor. Our realtors and lender called us to explain the situation and apologize for what sounded like Ticor's mistake. I had to give Ticor Title one star because that’s as low as it goes. Unfortunately, we dealt with team Kate in University Place and she was miserable. We had to get a Power of Attorney to sign, since my wife was attending a family reunion. This threw Kate into a high speed wobble. She had my wife call her to make sure I wasn’t going behind her back and that ruined her reunion.
