A real diner experience New Jersey is famous for, and proud of, its diners; and rightly so. The Tick Tock is one major reason why. If you live anywhere near it, then you no doubt already know first hand what an insititution this is. If you do not live in northern New Jersey, then you owe it to yourself to stop there out the next time you are in the Clifton area. You will not be disappointed by the food, service, prices, or atmosphere. As the neon sign surrounding the clock on the outside of the building says, "EAT HEAVY."
Classic NJ diner I've been here a few times after Giants games, and never been disappointed. It is usually very crowded, but the service does not suffer. The prices are reasonable and for a diner, there are TONS of options. Highly recommended.
Classic diner This is one of the classic diners in NJ, and a great place to stop on the way back from the city. From time to time you'll even catch radio stations broadcasting from here late nite or for special events. Good food and always open!
Great classic NJ diner! New Jersey is the only place to experience an authentic Diner in America, and the Tick-Tock Diner is a great example! It is a true diner, and I high recommend it!
