The Guy from the prosthetic department was rude. I was explaining to him I was routed to their department to check status of the walker but he hang up on me. Very bad
Visited Long Beach VA today to get appointment with a VSO, was told by the gentleman at reception desk that if I ever used a VSO in the past I had to go through them. Like 20 years ago I did. This information is incorrect, when you start with a new VSO it cancels the last Power of Attorney you had with your last VSO, that is how it really works. The Gentleman was nice, but very misinformed. I wasted a day for this.
VA, is failing Veterans. Just to make a doctors, dental, or appointment, Veterans have to wait 4 to a 8 months just to get health care. When active, you basically have to go to the you medical or dental appointment every 3 to 6 months, if you did not go to appointment you will be subject to UCMJ for not taking care of your health. If your a civilian. You have to wait 3, 8, even over a year for appointment slot. Veterans Do Not receive proper mlhealth care. Had a crack tooth. Very painfull, took me 5 months to see dental.
