We went to the original location in Middletown. While visiting New Haven we remembered there have a restaurant. The dumplings are the best.
Phenomenal restaurant. A cozy little spot for even cozier food. Although we had to wait like 20 mins to get a seat (seating is pretty limited) it was well worth it, and the crazy quick service more than made up for it. Super duper good would recommend very much enjoyed. Yes yes yes 😝
Never tried Tibetian food. Very clean and not as oily as traditional Asian food.
Very spicy! Better to request spice level 1 and later add your own heat with the sauce on the table. We like spicy food and can tolerate it well. When asked by the waiter how spicy we wanted the food from 1 to 5, I said 3 out of 5 and my friend said medium. Perhaps the chef was unaware that the scale offered to us by the waiter was from 1 to 5 instead of 1 to 3, because the food was so spicy that we could barely eat it.
