I have an older (high end) car that I’ve owned for years. I took it to this place for a free evaluation “check up” to make sure it was safe for long trips. I didn’t have any previous noticeable problems. They make you sit in an area where you can’t see what they’re doing during the process which made me uncomfortable. It took them almost 2 hours to check it out and they gave me a 4 page estimate of items that needed repair which amounted to more than the car was worth. These good folks helped me out of a pickle with hurricane Milton barreling down on Tuesday and a roadtrip planned for that Friday. My AC motor was shot at 3pm that Tuesday and they fixed me up before close that same day. This is the type of shop you cherish.

You know, even though the vast majority of reviews for Tibbetts are 5 star, a few reviews highlight the difficulties of operating a business these days. Too many people not staying on their med's and having to vet, or blame someone else for their own ignorance and stupidity. Ridiculous and shameful. My family and I have been having our cars serviced for over 20 years at Tibbetts and they consistently do great work. Often they go beyond the norm to try and solve and remove the mysterious goblins that can infect an automobile.... read more
