Over the last 17 years I’ve had 16 abdominal surgeries. My 15th surgery was due to an emergency situation where I had to have a colon resection and a colonoscopy bag added. Imagine my surprise when I woke up. After 5 months I was told by my surgeon that I had too much scar tissue and abdominal damage to reverse the previous surgery and he gave me three options, go visit Dr Liu, go to the Cleveland Clinic or live the remainder of my life with a colonoscopy bag. Dr. Liu is amazing at what he does! He is extremely knowledgeable, takes time to explain his thought process and procedures to patients, and has performed all the services I needed very well! He also is very responsive when I have questions or concerns, is proactive about protecting patient health, and provides confidence and calm when guiding someone through procedures. I highly recommend him and his team to anyone looking for a doctor in this specialty.
2nd UPDATE It will be 4 years on April 1, 2026 since this gifted surgeon removed the horrible cancerous tumor from my body. I have been cancer free since. I'm not going to lie and say the journey was easy. However, this was a very aggressive tumor invading my body. This doctor saved my life. Today, I am living life to my fullest.
