Great team! My 13yo cat was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and could not tolerate the oral meds. I reached out to Thyro-Cat. They have several location options, very reasonable pricing. At $2300 it was 80% cheaper than one of the corporate places I got a quote from, but is dependent on weight and medical conditions. Donna at Thyrocat was great - Don’t be deterred by the process, it’s really actually very easy and safe and your cat will be healthy and happy once again! My now 16-year-old Mira was diagnosed as having severe hyperthyroidism in 2017. After the diagnosis, I tried feeding her Tapazole pills twice a day, but she would always spit then out. It was also heartbreaking to see her struggle with the meds and illness. Due to her serious condition, Mira was required to undergo two separate I-131 treatments in 2019 and 2020 respectively.
