All these reviews years ago....makes me feel better that it was not just me. She is very rude, condescending and all these things people have mentioned. Very unprofessional and doesn't really listen, she hasn't changed one bit. I gave up and walked out on her a couple days ago, I'm filing a grievance. Dr's are so short of hand, I'm sorry for those like me who had to endure this because there is no longer a choice.

I found Kaplan to be ignorant about common health conditions that older people deal with. She would tell me something about a medical condition, I'd go home and check her "facts" with national organizations that help people with that condition (and also with major health care organizations). It would turn out that Kaplan was simply uninformed about these basic health matters and was giving me false information about my health care

There’s a reason this woman has bad reviews. I would choose a different provider if you have the option unless it’s for something super simple but as a primary care physician choose somebody else.

Please excuse the screen name, my son did it and I don’t know how to change it. My experience with Dr. Kaplan has been terrible. I don’t understand why someone would get into healthcare if they are not willing to treat patients like human beings. My doctor retired and she was the replacement. Wanted me to immediately switch to a different medication that I’ve had problems with in the past. She said that I would be closely monitored and to call if I had any problems and they would be addressed immediately. That was a lie. I s... read more
