Lovely place very relaxing -loved sitting out on the veranda by the lake-the breakfasts were delicious and the location is minutes from Park Ave in Winter Park. The owner Beverly couldn’t have been nicer— such a gem! We would definitely return!!!

Beverly is incredibly attentive and thoughtful. She was responsive to our dietary requests and cooked a delicious breakfast! The house was clean, comfortable and quiet. It was our home base during our stay in Orlando and it was just perfect!

Thurston House turned our brief visit to attend a wedding in Orlando into an amazing stay! The home is well outfitted, with comfortable rooms and quick hot water, and we relished the ability to enjoy the home's historic qualities but with the benefit of just enough modern accommodations to be comfortable. We stayed in the Hirsch room which was lovely. The house sits on a decent-sized property but is right in town: just far enough to be quiet but still easy to get around. I didnt stay at the Bed and Breakfast, but met Mrs Beverly while taking care of their vehicle. They have a beautiful location and scenery, and their super friendly! I highly recommend this place if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle!

Beverly is welcoming and kind. The room was very clean and furnished to beautifully match the homes history along with a very comfortable bed and nice heavy towels. Her breakfasts are a delight! This stay was part of a birthday gift for my husband and Beverly fulfilled all my special requests and needs. I highly recommend Thurston House and if I ever require accommodations in Winter Park again, this is where I will stay!
