Ive taken my SoftTail Slim and a couple other of previous bikes I've owned in the past to these guys at Thunder Chief. This last time, I had my fork seals replaced that had been leaking. They always do awesome work and for a lot better price than what a Harley dealership would charge. I'll probably continue to take my bike their for all the repairs that I don't feel comfortable doing myself.
I see a lot of really good reviews here, most a couple year old, and I wish I had received this kind of treatment, but I didn't. I dropped the bike at the beginning of July for a make run after it had been sitting a couple years. They didn't wrap up with it until late in August. When I picked it up it had a fuel light on so I went up the street and filled it up. Fuel light didn't go out so they told me to ride it for a while and bring it back if the light doesn't go away. As the business owner, I feel like I need to respond and get our side of the story documented. The motorcycle came into the shop in July, but initially it was a wreck repair. We are behind on wreck jobs and it takes some time to get to them. Wrecks are scheduled differently than a bike that has been sitting and is a simple “make run”. If you want your bike to get fixed don't take it to a dealer take it to these guys they are top shelf,they forgot more about harleys then a dealership will ever know.from lil stuff to big they can fix it new or old hands down the best if I could give them 10 stars I would
