The time share company that owned this resort went through bankruptcy and never notified the owners who never received legal documents concerning their legal interest in property. This against the law. We got this 4th of July by Interval International. We will be writing them soon concerning this. The Thunderbird Resort prior to Covid 16 was a gem tucked away off of S. Stopped for a late lunch 1:50 P M THEY close at 2 but mo problem every thing was grate !
This resort is not fancy. It is a converted apartment building. The resort has sold off some of the units to private parties, leaving few units to reserve. The accommodations are fairly clean, quiet, and safe. I say fairly quiet because it is bounded on one side by the freeway and on the other side by condominiums with owners who have several dogs that bark all day and night. I am very unhappy with Thunderbird Resort Club. We have stayed once and bum rushed out this last time. I understand mechanical in a hotel type business, but being told they are cleaning the rooms twice and then coming back a third time to be told that they had to book us into another property was irritating. The other issue I have with this place is that there is no in person registration desk. No personal touch at all.
