This is hands down the best mine train I have ever done. This one is very unique because it starts at the top of the hill, does the whole layout, then ends with the lift hill. You exit the station and slowly pick up speed on your way down the hill. There is this double helix with a tunnel in the middle of the ride that tries to kill you. Needs updating or replacing. Always enjoyed this coaster, however today's ride felt extremely rough. The shaking hurt my head and neck so much during ride that I had to let go of bar and hold my neck. My husband got off Thunderation and said no more rides today as it had hurt his back. Me thinks as a season pass holder I'll add this to another SDC ride I don't enjoy anymore (loved the previous raft ride; hate how harsh and the height of the replacement).
