My family and I try and visit Branson at least once a year. And within those visits, it’s about a 99.9% chance a visit to Silver Dollar City is happening. Well this year our eight year old is able to ride more rides than last year. Though technically he was able to ride Thunderation last year, every day we visited it was closed for repairs. Beautiful scenery, but you might leave with whiplash and a headache.
It was fun until we got to the spirals it then started shaking and my body was sliding to each side of the track I was the last thing I rode so when I came home I got in bed immediately to chill cause my body ached but it’s not all bad it was after after that was bad
DO NOT RIDE THIS IF YOU LIKE YOUR BACK AND HEAD! I’m sure it was good in its prime but currently it’s extremely painful and rough!! The only good part was the lift hill which provided very scenic views of the forest. The worst part had to be the spiral.😩 It just got worse and worse as I went around with no let up. I’m usually not one to yell on rides but this one left me yowling in pain and begging for it to stop. ☹️
This ride has lots of potential that was never taken advantage of. The track layout rides over the natural terrain of the landscape, and it would’ve been enjoyable if the coaster wasn’t trying to give you a deadly concussion and severe brain damage. Your back will be blown out, and not in a good way 😩
