In July 2006, it was converted to a full stand alone franchise. Thunder Road H-D is now proudly owned and operated by Pierce Wellons Motorsports, LLC as of September 2008.

I’ve been a big follower on Facebook and drove 4 hrs just to meet Kimberly and Cory. Had an awesome visit. Then the let Kimberly and Cory go why I don’t know. But they have hired the new guy Jared acts like Richard Rawlings from grease monkey. Well now after following Thunder Road on Facebook for over a year they have blocked me from commenting on Facebook. Why because I have said how unprofessional Jared acts.
We walked in just looking but seen the prefect bike immediately. While walking over the manager was already right there with us talking about the bike and seeing we wanted it. The whole team worked and made sure we left with that bike. They ran into a small complication but they didn't let that stop them. The whole team was great and we will probably be back for future purchases. Highly recommend them, great staff and very understanding and listens to the customer.
