Before meeting Dr. Kaufman, I was in a very dark place, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. My brother and I have been going to Dr. Kaufman since 2019. She has been extremely helpful teaching my how to cope with my PTSD and other difficulties. The homework assignments she has me doing are tough, but they do help me understand and identify the triggers that set me off; especially at night when I'm trying to sleep. Dr. Kaufman is deeply understanding of My conflicts in family and life and always has good rationale for problem solving. There's always beneficial takeaways in making you think and doing your home- work, which is what I need. Insightful and experienced.
Due to PTSD from military duty I was refered to Dr. Kaufman. She authorized a service animal three years ago and my ability to cope with what has happened recently is due to that.
Dr. Kaufman has been, and continues to be an insightful, intuitive, kind, present and uplifting confidant. Which is a rarity for this Disabled Veteran, who lives with vacillating moods and levels of PTSD related anxiety and trust issues.
