I’ve been trying for months to see a doctor at Throston Medical Centre, but they keep telling me that I can only book an appointment online. However, I have never been able to find an available slot online—maybe because I don’t fully understand the system, as technology is difficult for me. I have sleep apnea and heart problems. I constantly struggle with breathing issues. I feel like I’m going to die without getting help, and no one is helping me.

Twice in a row been told they have 0 appointments despite ringing as soon as the telephone line opened. Wouldn’t even see a pregnant lady and turned them away to 111.

The worst surgery I have ever been registered with. The doctors and nurses are fine, when you actually get to speak to one of them. It’s the front of house/reception team that let the place down. There’s one lovely lady, sorry I dont know your name, but the rest are robots with no consideration for people who have special circumstances. You’re asked to ring at 8:30 to make an appointment and if you’re lucky enough to joint the queue you are rarely able to get an appointment. The medical centre messed my appointment up. I turned up last week for my appointment and was told there was no record of it and the nurse had gone home. Then they found I had an appointment and they said they couldn’t do anything anyway as the nurse had gone home. I live a long way from the centre and had to battle rush hour traffic to be told they couldn’t do the injection I was booked for.
