My son has been seeing dr j for over a year and he has worked wonders with him. Ellie (the therapy dog) really helps calm my son and gets him to open up . Dr j has been our saving grace . Thankyou Dr j for everything you have done for Jacob and myself
I can’t speak highly enough of the incredible support and care we’ve received from Thriving Now Psychology. Reports he has extensive experience with autism however decided my autistic son was 'not a good fit' for his services after one consult. As a parent of an autistic child who experiences rejection due to his neurodivergence- this experience was disheartening. Unsure of the underlying reason, too busy to see regularly, too complex of a patient for psyc therapy but did leave the experience with a bad taste in my mouth.
I got a report from the psychologist here that said I have ADHD but when I saw a psychiatrist the two page report wasn't enough information for her to go off. Go straight to a psychiatrist if you're looking for ADHD assessment.
Jay is a very nice man and psychologist and he treats you like a friend not just a client. Prices are also very reasonable compared to some other places that do Autism Diagnostic Assessments. As I promised Jay the first time I saw him I'd give him a 5 star review and he has delivered nothing less than a 5 star. Thanks Jay. Edit: I forgot to say Ellie is the best therapy dog 😊
