Absolutely unacceptable experience with Thriveworks Counseling & Therapy in Medford. I had a scheduled appointment and never received a call, text, or email—nothing. I was ready and waiting, and no one ever reached out. Then, to make matters worse, I was charged $135 for a “no-show.” Charging a client when your own provider failed to make contact is completely unprofessional and unfair. Alexa was great and easy to talk to. Very positive in her approach.
Called them to schedule an appointment. Told her I wasn’t going to use insurance but that I did have it. I wanted to know the hourly rate- I wanted to go that route.At the 15 minute mark she tells me there’s no availability with either pay out of pocket or insurance. Not “hey well we are 3 weeks out for appointments” or anything like that. Just “there’s no availability” + more nonsense talk. I wasted 15 minutes ?
