I switched to Thrivewell from going to hospital infusion centers and I do not regret it one bit. Amazing and relaxing atmosphere, friendly and super helpful staff (and the private individual rooms are of course a plus). I require treatment monthly so I’m very happy to continue going to Thrivewell in Elmsford!
Nice people, but bad experience. First nurse missed the vein, second one found it but a painful venipuncture. When asked why I didn't see the medication moving through the tubing, the response I received was "It's gotta be going somewhere". When it came to removing the catheter, the nurse "yanked" it out at a 90 degree angle to the vein instead of sliding it out parallel to the vein as is the norm (confirmed this with a nurse practitioner). Two weeks later, hand is still bruised and painful.
