I’ve had the best experience with Carolyn! So grateful for her support. She is so dedicated to her job, I felt truly lucky to have her as my midwife. If I were to give birth again, I would be willing to move back to BC just for her.

A bit of a late review (about a year now), but our experience with Thrive Midwifery was so wonderful that it deserves to be shared. We welcomed our baby daughter, with the support of Carolyn and Winnifred, and we couldn’t have asked for a better team. Throughout the pregnancy, Carolyn was incredibly helpful and attentive. Carolyn is MORE than a midwife! That idea came to me over and over while working with her during my second pregnancy. She was not only knowledgeable and competent but very relational and caring. She balanced professionalism with warmth and kindness. I sincerely hope to work with her again! Carolyn's passion for her work is such a gift to the world. She really is a gem! I also really appreciated that she speaks French and Spanish and could speak to my bilingual firstborn en français.

I had an amazing experience. I never realized how informed I was on everything until I talked to other women who went through doctors and I appreciated all the knowledge I was given at our appointments to make decisions easier during labour. I felt so safe and calm with Carolyn; not only did I feel her care for me during labour but after.

Carolyn is a phenomenal midwife. Her care is above and beyond what I needed to heal from the trauma of my first hospital birth. She helped me achieve the birth of my dreams in my own home. I am so thankful to have gotten to know her and learn so much within the time of my care. If anyone is looking for a midwife in the lower mainland, she’s the one !
