I really wanted to love Thrive Mama Collective — their mission and services are valuable to the community. However, my experience was disappointing. I received a gift card in Nov. 2023 and scheduled a massage, but the appointment was canceled less than an hour before due to the therapist sharing a mom was in labor. I wasn’t aware that cancellations like this were a possibility (there is no reference to her being a birth worker at the booking), and unfortunately, I lost a day off work. I had a 1hr prenatal massage with Tamika at 33 weeks. She asked me about problem spots, made sure to spend some extra time on my shoulders and back, and ended up finding some spots i didn’t even know were bothering me! She was very kind and the energy in the space was relaxed and calm. I felt like I had a whole new body afterward! I think it is 100% worth the price, and plan to schedule again postpartum. I will absolutely recommend her to anyone needing a massage. Thank you Tamika!!!
Tamika the massage therapist is absolutely amazing. I had 3 prenatal massages with her and all were amazing, can’t recommend her enough. I used Taryn as my midwife and she was condescending and egotistical throughout. They made multiple mistakes and when brought to her attention, was harsh and dismissive. I delivered a beautiful baby and owe it all to her student midwife on hand, Caitlin. I recently received a prenatal massage from Tamika & it was amazing. It was a relaxing treatment but still enough pressure to work on my problems area and relieve tension. I recommend her for any type of massage she offers and will be sending my pregnant mama friends her way :)
I got a massage from Tamika and it was 10/10! She was so thorough to work on the areas I requested and made my back feel so much better immediately! Shes so kind and I will definitely be returning to her!
