Absolutely love the Thrive Lewisville Rec center!! The facility is clean, well-equipped, and has something for everyone—great workout area, yoga classes, a swimming pool, volleyball, badminton, senior programs, ping pong tables and an amazing childcare center. The staff here truly make the place special. Mayra, Darrin, Miranda and Jazmyn are outstanding leaders—professional, kind, and genuinely loved by both guests and staff. My kids and I are members and I really like bringing them up here. My only issue is there is a life guard that seems to target people of color. He wears a royal blue shirt and appears to be a supervisor. At first, I thought he was just trying to keep people safe. When we first came to the pool, for example, he pointed out that I couldn’t get in the pool with a cotton shirt on, which is a legitimate concern and pool rule.
