I've never had any problem with the work done here. However, over the years they have gone from thrifty, to mediocre, to about the same price as every other tire shop. I got 65k mile, Goodyears from Wal-Mart for cheaper than they were gonna sell me 50k mile whatchamacallits.
Thrifty Tire is still on the signage, but it's currently transitioning to Mr. Tire. Women beware. I specifically requested an alignment and replacement of an AC belt. Several minutes later, the front desk employee came into the waiting area, estimate in hand, and gave me the following explanation: The camshaft seals were leaking and oil had drenched the timing belt as well as all other belts on the car.
