Booked my car a month in advance for $33 and when I get there, they tack on another $80 fee and leave me stranded in an unfamiliar city with no way to get anywhere. Never use thrifty.
San Diego has a special relationship with Thrifty because the specials online for Standard SUV's are incredible. This is my conjecture. I always have a positive rental experience and I'm a local.
Had confirmed reservations, as well as over the phone verified. They must have over booked me and a couple other people got left put to dry. Midnight arrival had to make other arrangements… too bad…
