I picked up my car in California at Ontario airport and dropped it off 13days later at San Diego airport it was so smooth. It was awesome.

I can honestly say that when us Brits visit the states, the Americans treat us so much better than our own! I’ve hired cars in the UK but in America they go out of their way to help and the service is 110%, I hired a car via a website that put Thrifty up top and now I know why! Respect and courtesy from the staff was brilliant from the time I collected the car. He didn’t hard sell me anything but only suggested about a next size car up because I had booked a compact vehicle, and being 6’2” he said it might be uncomfortable. ... read more

I had the misfortune of renting from them last night. I found the agents to be rude and not helpful. I was checked in by a lady. I think her name was Jane. She was loud and absolutely obnoxious, vey unhelpful. It was her way or no way in regards to choosing a car. I had to go back to the office three times since the condition of the cars were unsatisfactory. Very poor customer service. I refused to go back to Jane the 2nd time. I expect better customer service when a customer returns right after leaving something behind in the vehicle. We had to return 2 times 2 different days- to try and retrieve a phone left behind. There was always a new reason they couldn’t look for it/ get to it. We were told lost and found went home at 2pm for the day the last time. I’m so disappointed this couldn’t be resolved at the drop off location. I was also over charged double for my image coverage - I’ve yet to receive confirmation that I’ll be reimbursed.
