Waited in a 5 person line for over 45 minutes to pick up vehicle. Now I understand why Thrifty wants customers to pay and extra $30 to “skip the line”. Clearly, this is an issue management is aware of and instead of correcting the problem, decided to monetize it. Never renting from Thrifty again.

Terrible customer service! Pulled up to drop off car and when I said thank you sir, his response was "whatever to not get fired". As we unloaded bags he said that's an excessive amount of sand. "Anything that takes 15 minutes longer to clean we can charge you". I said we'll I hope you don't sorry about that. It was a little bit of sand that would have been captured with floor mats, had there been any. 7 minutes later we were charged $250 for cleaning. Ended up costing $100 more than quoted when I ordered the rental online versus picking it up at Raleigh, NC. More expenses that the gentleman at the counter said WE NEEDED AND WAS VERY PUSHY AND INSISTED WE NEEDED.

If I could, I would give this place zero stars. Worst customer service of any car rental location I’ve ever dealt with. Completely uncooperative and not at all understanding. These people left my family stranded without a car. Thrifty, you should be ashamed to have a location and employees like this!!!
