Wouldn't let me give negative star
It is unbelievable how thrifty/hertz treats their customers, I am perplex! I had to make a change of the airport I was going to make the delivery of my rental car to the Mobile Downtown International Airport. I requested this by the call center and was charged an extra $28 fee just because of the change, after already paying around $200 just because I was not delivering my car at the same airport I picked up the car. Sitting here waiting with my daughter for her car the she reserved ahead of time for her trip. It was supposed to be ready at 7:00am. We got here at 7:30am and was told it would be 30-45min wait for a clean car. It is now 8:40am and now they say they do not even know how long. They really just don't seem to care...as we are watching other people get cars.
Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever encountered with a rental car company. We have used MOB regional airport for 3 years mostly through Avis, we decided to use thrifty since it was a little cheaper. Went to pick rental up 15 minutes after they opened and the representative said they had “no clean cars” that it’d be about a 30-45 minute wait. Almost 2 hours later they called to say it was ready. 10/10 do NOT recommend using thrifty or anything Hertz related. Absolutely atrocious customer service and a piss poor company ... read more
