It’s weird that all their responses to poor reviews say “we’re striving to improve” yet they don’t improve anything as people keep giving bad reviews due to extreme wait times. We rented through Alamo up the road a few days ago and no issues. Hired a car from here today expecting the same seamless process and how wrong we were. The wait time was so long that we didn’t want the car in the end as we were so late for our reservation. My advice is to walk up the road to Alamo. 차 받는데 3시간 걸림. 늦는다는걸 알고 1시간 반전에 도착했는데 리셉션대기 2시간에 밑에.내려가서 한시간 걸림. ㅋㅋㅋ 이딴데가 있냐 ㅋㅋ 걍 차도없는데 무조건 받고 돌아오면 그때주는듯 ㅋㅋ

Thrifty car rental at Honolulu airport is far from terrible!! Did we have to wait over an hour in line to get our vehicle? Yes!! Did we pay far less than some of the better companies next to them? Sure! Did we get what we paid for? Absolutely!! Customer service was fantastic and the Jeep we rented was exactly as described!! Would highly recommend using them if you don’t mind to wait a little longer to get your vehicle other than that everything was perfect!!

I’ve rented from this Thrifty/Dollar (same company) around 7-8 times within the past year. With a few exceptions, I’ve always booked through third party online travel agencies to get better rates. The wait was generally an hour minimum to an hour and half, sometimes closer to two hours before getting a car. Even I had pre-Checked in each time, I still had to wait.
