terrible experience all around. The vehicle they provided looked like it came from the scrap yard, it smelled like pee and when we brought it to their attention, thrifty couldn't have cared less. After the rental was returned, we received an additional charge and did not receive our deposit back nor did we receive a final statement outlining what the charges were for. The cars are dirty, filthy, and overpriced. Had to wash and vacuum their car because it came dirty and was full of sand. Clearly shows their attitude towards customers. Avoid at all costs.

Total Bait and Switch. Booked in advance and pre-paid in full for 2 SUVs. Arrived as planned and got checked in - were told our SUV's were waiting. Went to retrieve our cars and were told that they'd given away all of the SUVs that day and only had midsize cars left. They gave away the SUVs that we'd pre-paid for! We have 2 kids in car seats, 4 adults, and tons of luggage, which is why we booked SUVs. To add insult to injury, they refused to refund the premium we paid for the SUVs.
