Spoiler Alert: Online Check Ins do not work at this location because the agent needs to upsell you options that you don’t need. Also, the gas tank was only 3/4 full on the most recent rental, but I returned the car full just to avoid being charged (most likely result if I returned it 3/4 full) and then spend hours trying to to get a refund, like others had tried and failed. @everyone!! After booking, check your bank accounts!! This location charges extra fees (hundreds of dollars) and thrives on the fact that people are usually too busy on their vacation to notice! We rented a car at this Thrifty location through Booking and had already paid. When we got there to pick it up, the employee behind the counter insisted that we had to rent car seats from them at a ridiculous price. Would give zero stars if possible. (Edit: the rental company reached out to me. And issued a full refund for the charge given. Was bummed with the situation but the customer service did work to make it right and fix the charge made.) I did the check-in, license upload, and everything for the rental. It gave me a bill summary. And everything looked great I submitted it and had it ready for pick up the next day. I’ve rented from this Thrifty/Dollar (same company) around 7-8 times within the past year. With a few exceptions, I’ve always booked through third party online travel agencies to get better rates.
