I do NOT recommend renting from Thrifty. They have very shady fuel practices. I recently rented a car for less than a day. I returned it with full tank, gauge reading 8/8. I returned the car early in the morning while the office was closed and 3 days later I received a $45 fuel charge on top of my bill I had already paid. They billed me for 3.76 gallons of fuel used @$11.99/gallon. This is a Rav4. It has a 14.5 gallon tank. I only drove 29 miles on the freeway. Rav4s get over 30 miles to the gallon. Wish I could put zero stars. The ginger kid working the counter is absolutely clueless and has zero remorse or care for any customers. Not only is he incompetent, he smiles and wishes you a good day while he ruins your hopes for a good vacation.

Experienced terrible customer service. I informed them that I had an error light on for the tire. They gave me such a hard time, and talked so disrespectful to me. I've had issues with rental cars in the past. The staff asked me to return the car and they swapped it out, no questions asked. The managers were so petty with me. They told me if something happens to the tire I am responsible. When they'd just told me the day before, as long as the pressure was above 25 it shouldn't be a problem.
