Reserved a vehicle, opted out of the extra insurance, also told the employee specifically that I did not want additional coverage. But they went ahead and charged me extra anyway and won’t reverse the charges. Won’t be using thrifty ever again. Ask for a detailed breakdown of your charges before you ever sign anything. They are good about having you electronically sign a blank screen.
Please don’t book a car at Thrifty. The wait times are horrendous and when go to pay the price I higher than the price on the confirm. I was told the price was higher because when they accepted the reservation they had the incorrect taxes with Expedia. There is a reason the reviews are so low. It’s because doing business with Thrifty is bad business. I was charged an extra 80. If that were insurance or an upgrade I would understand but it’s was just bad business service from Thrifty. They out to be shut down.
