DO NOT RENT HERE. I reserved and prepaid for a rental car one week before my trip and received a confirmation 24 hours before my rental. In the middle of my flight to Fresno, I received a call that no cars were available and that my reservation would not be honored and that they wouldn’t be able to refund it since I booked it through a third party travel portal. I would give a 0 if it let me. The staff was rude and insulting. They lied and made me wait half hour for a car. Gave me worse car than i booked and didnt have s full tank. Havent tried to make amends. Book elsewhere. Thrifty is horrible
No attendant on duty to do a pre-check with me when I left with the car at Fresno airport (FAT). I've never been to a rental place that didn't go over the car with me in person. When I returned the car, I was told that there was chip on the windshield that was attributed to me. The counter person didn't warn me that there was no exit attendant and didn't suggest to me to take pictures of the car prior to leaving. NEVER rent from Thrifty. I reserved a full-size truck to accommodate 5 large adults. The reservation was made months in advance of our arrival. I was told a full-size pickup was not available and no attempt was made by Thrifty to provide a comparable size vehicle. The agent stuck me with a small vehicle - take it or leave it. I checked with a few other rental agencies in the airport, but no large vehicles were available. Be careful using this rental company make sure to ask for a actual printout receipt. I got charged 2 times one to my debit card and one more to my company credit card for the same rental. They also charge you for extra things like city taxes and different drop off places but at the end after you have returned the car.
