While the agent who helped me was really knowledgeable and as helpful as she could be, my overall experience was not good. Apparently other renters regularly fail to return the vehicles so I had to wait until one was returned before I could leave. It was not what I had reserved but since it was there I took it. The warehouse of cars felt like it was in a very sketchy area far from the airport. I didn't feel super comfortable there.

Initially they didn’t have any cars available for a 12pm booking, then gave me a suv 1 hour later and then I had to wait another 45 mins for them to wash it even though the other cars that were called out after me were washed and delivered while I waited for the car. No effort was made to prioritize to help me to get out. Ever time, I had to ask and they would call and every time there was another car ahead. The asian representative that took car of me was very nice but overall such a poor service.

Waited an hour for someone to process my rental. Office is in Hertz’s location and no one there could help anyone who had reservations from thrifty. 3 people sitting at computers wouldn’t deal with thrifty. Had to wait for manager to come out to help.

Be prepared for hidden fees, a $500 deposit, AND to have your credit checked. I have never had to deal with such a stupid car rental process. Edited to add: it has been 3 business days and still haven’t received my $500 deposit back. Their customer service is only an automated machine, no real people to answer anything.

Ticket Agent Mary was a joy to interact with. I’d travelled all day and was a little grumpy. Matt with her pleasant smile and easy conversation made the rental experience actually remarkable. Great car. Great service.
