I’m from out of town and I’ve had an accident needing a rental car. They want $500 deposit a major credit card and this is all through insurance not to mention the rude staff. I would never do this with thrifty ever again and if I could give him less than one star I would.
They dont use insurance so you need your own. Kinda beats the purpose of rentals but that's just me.
Very unprofessional and didnt even bother yo help me. I was in the building for a minimum of 3 minutes for them to say no. Jill was not helpful one bit . They said we won't do anything unless I had a credit card. And when I presented it to them they said said no . I got a bit of racism vibes to be honest :(
Our car broke down last Friday in the very small town of Oshkosh, NE while we were on our way to Colorado Springs. It was over 100 degrees, and I was honestly nervous about having my family spend the night in a small roadside motel. I called multiple rental companies with no luck—no cars available until Monday.
