I had a difficult experience after airline disruptions forced me to change my rental return from North Platte to Denver. My original rental was approximately $220, and the revised total ultimately exceeded $1,000 due to a higher daily rate, mileage and a one-way drop fee. My husband rented and returned a car from Thrifty North Platte. When he returned the agent was on the phone. He signed the documents and handed him the key. Later that day the agent sent him photos of damage he says my husband caused to car. Which he DID NOT. He asked for the pre-rental photos and agent would never provide them all. This week I got a $1400.00 charge on my credit card for damages. Thrifty will not provide evidence. How do I get this resolved ?

I cant say enough about how wonderful and accommodating Jill Richardson and her Thrifty rental team were at the North Platte airport rental counter. We were driving from Summit County in CO back to Minneapolis, MN when we received a phone call that our daughter had been in a horrible car crash in Silverthorne, CO. I’m from out of town and I’ve had an accident needing a rental car. They want $500 deposit a major credit card and this is all through insurance not to mention the rude staff. I would never do this with thrifty ever again and if I could give him less than one star I would.
