Not sure how it’s a best business practice to issue a vehicle reservation and then to allow for the customer to discover upon pick up that there are no vehicles available.

I had secured a midsize vehicle many weeks prior to arriving in Dallas Fort Worth. Upon arrival I was told only electric cars were available. The vehicle was uncharged unclean and smelt of smoke on the interior. It’s not what we had requested and we’re completely dissatisfied from the second. We drove away. We had no other options as this was an offsite Rental Car agency and we were not wanting to secure another Uber vehicle to find another Rental Car at the last minute due to a wedding that we were attending.

I was told by the customer service that I can swap my vehicle at Forest Lane. I kept calling but there was no answer. I then drove to the location and was met by a very dismissive man who was on his own (explains why the calls weren't answered). He said I have been lied to and he doesn't have the vehicle I was told he had according to the customer service. Definitely not trust worthy. Thrifty is thrifty for a reason. Worst place to rent a car. Never again. Steer well clear.....
