Ended up paying about $200 more than we were quoted. They have all kinds of hidden fees. Also some of their fees are based on a percentage of your total, so accepting extras like insurance increases other fees. Tried to request a partial refund but of course they refused as their business model is based around hidden fees. Also took ages to get the car. No service - 1 bus every half an hour to pick up to take you to your car, all other companies have buses every 10 minutes I counted 9 Budget/ Avis buses vs the one thrifty/hertz bus in the 35 minutes waiting Bus is so small it fits 10 people max When they arrive at the terminal they don’t wait to fill the the bus just leave Just another example of terribly poor service - book else where when in Sydney
I hired a car for a weekend - charged me $100 for a childs car seat for 4 days!
