Ain't what it used to be. You can no longer use your own gear to belay on top rope. Boulder problems abandoned the traditional v-scale for their own made up scale. Don't count on kicking in a rate with a membership, they raise rate on members as they wish (5 year loyalty only gives deeper discounts on gear that mostly can't be used in the gym). Years of climbing here, never disappointed. I have seen growth in my ability and techniques. Climbs have great variety, multiple auto belays, and a vast choice of top rope and lead. Boulders galore! The staff...absolutely the best around!
It's a nice and clean place .
I travel all over the country for work and frequent different gyms each week. Threshold is by far my overall favorite gym. The route setting is always top tier. They do a good job at making it challenging but very fun and enjoyable. Staff is always super friendly, engaging and knowledgable.
