Travis was very insightful and helpful. My Fiancé and I are very grateful for his perspective. Travis did a great job relating with his own experiences to help us understand each other better. I really appreciate Travis’s communication style. I would highly recommend him to anyone wanting specific strategies and techniques for pre- marriage or any other stages of life.
We did our premarital counseling through Three Strands; Travis was an excellent counselor and gave us some great tools and starting points for how to communicate effectively. We were looking for the professionalism and practicality of a licensed counselor, but also wanted it from a biblical perspective as well, and Three Strands was perfect for that!
I'm guessing this will get deleted. Travis was late to the appointment time that he chose. Seemed stressed,unfocused,condescending and needing to be somewhere else. His phone was going off throughout the entire session that he would grab and look at.Both times I went he brought up his wife and his issues. I'm not sure if it was an attempt to build rapport,vent, or create a sense of understanding through his own struggles with HER mental health.
