Our waitress, Anna, was a complete sweetheart, and very helpful. The food was good. Not stellar, but good. Very Midwestern America. Solid, filling, simple. I left unsatisfied however, because the 'management', who is evidently the boss' son, is rude, and insulting to customers within their earshot if they question their bill. I felt we were overcharged on my child's meal ($5.50 for one pancake with strawberries and bananas and an additional $1.99 for bacon... for a SIX-YEAR-OLD!), and the man was very snide about it. A personal favorite. Not 5 star but t-shirt and jeans. A total truck stop experience with 30+ years behind it. Lots of seating, huge menu, hard to decide, better than average food and generous helpings. A standard for Waupaca. not everyone will like it but I give it a 90% satisfaction rating. I have not heard of anyone who doesn't like it after we've taken visitors here.
